Elections and $$$

I am so pleased with the results of the elections on Tuesday. Rumsfeld's resignation had me putting my American flag up and dancing in the drive way. I was so unhappy with my country's government lately, that the flag was put away.
Now, what are we going to do with the mess we are in. there are some great ideas out there in democrat land. Contrary to what you have been told by repugs and msm. Look here for a start.
Iraq is important, but at the core of our country's problems is government by corporations not the people. We are kidding ourselves about getting corruption out of government until we get ALL the money out, look here. meaning that campaigns must be publically funded.
We don't need all the expensive, horrid ads that bombard us every election year. We need debate, we need a media that gives us facts about issues and candidates, instead of keeping score and analyzing the race rather than the issues. Once we get the big money out of congress and campaigns it will be much easier to have a government responsive to it's citizens, not corporations.
